Iloilo City’s largest hotel is set to open within Megaworld’s mixed-used township in Mandurriao district this year.
The 12-story Belmont Hotel Iloilo, specifically located along Festive Walk Parade in Iloilo Business Park (IBP), has 405 rooms featuring curated artworks by local artists that highlight iconic landmarks in Iloilo infused with the nostalgic charm of the 1950s.

“We are excited to offer a truly refreshing experience for everyone at Belmont Hotel Iloilo, and this chapter marks an important milestone in our commitment to help boost tourism in the Visayas,” said Cleofe Albiso, MHR managing director.
“Iloilo continues to be a premier destination for local and international travelers with Iloilo Business Park leading the way. We are proud to continue expanding our hospitality footprint in this township with a new and premier development for guests who want to experience the best of Iloilo’s thriving tourism and business scene,” she continued.
Belmont Hotel Iloilo brings Megaworld’s hotel room key count within IBP to 880 — commanding nearly 25% of the entire city’s hotel room inventory. It will be managed by Megaworld Hotels & Resorts (MHR), country’s largest hotel developer.
MHR also operates Richmonde Hotel Iloilo (149 rooms) and Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo (326 rooms) in IBP.
Belmont Hotel Iloilo’s overall design and architecture introduces a standout aesthetic within IBP as it draws inspiration from the iconic spirit of the Miami Art Deco district.

The hotel’s lobby is characterized by a colorful and festive theme, blending the rich culture of Iloilo with the Mid-Century modern style aesthetics, as seen in the mix of modern finishes infused with vintage and retro elements.

Belmont Hotel Iloilo has Specially-Abled Rooms for guests with special mobility needs, as well as themed Kids Rooms connected to another room—a first-of-its-kind concept in Iloilo—offering a playful and more immersive experience for families traveling with children.

Another first-in-Iloilo concept integrated into the hotel is the mini-art gallery at the second-floor amenity area, which has been designed to host a rotating showcase of masterpieces from renowned local artists and personalities.

Surrounding the gallery is a highceiling grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 310 persons in a theater setup or about 300 in a banquet setup. It can be divided into four other smaller function halls for smaller, more intimate events and celebrations.

At the third-floor amenity area, guests will enjoy the swimming pool and kiddie pool, complemented by a pool lounge and male and female changing rooms that each feature integrated saunas.

Wellness enthusiasts will find a complete sanctuary in the hotel’s dedicated facilities, including a fitness center and private spa rooms to balance rigorous activity with deep, restorative healing.

Guests can also choose from three premier F&B outlets in the hotel, led by Belmont Café. This all-day dining destination features a private dining space and specializes in modern Ilonggo diner specialties in global formats while offering a refined dining setting for up to 120 guests.

The hotel also features its own Zabana Bar at the lobby lounge, Megaworld’s signature hotel bar concept, as well as the Float Bar and Grill at the pool lounge on the third floor.

Belmont Hotel Iloilo is surrounded by an exciting variety of must-visit attractions inside IBP. These include three museums, namely the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA)–the first museum in Visayas and Mindanao dedicated to contemporary art–Brandy Museum, and Science XPdition located at Festive Walk Iloilo.IMT/Photos by Ian Paul Cordero
